Updates Of WEEE Recast Directive

The EU member, has updates the WEEE directives after the deadline of 14 February 2014. This recast of directive approved now. In meanwhile the recast directive is released by the state member of EEA.  There are so many products of shopping center are responsible for the electronics and electrical waste.  This is the best platform to complete the target that is four kilograms per head according to per year.

There are ten categories already available in the EEE, which are given below.

•  Small household appliances

•  IT and telecommunications equipment

•  Consumer equipment

•  Lighting equipment

•  Electrical and electronic tools

•  Toys, leisure and sports equipment

•  Medical devices

•  Monitoring and control instruments

•  Automatic dispensers

As per the new directives, the collection must be 45% percent than the average annual waste. This will apply cable from 2016 to onwards. This collection will rise in 2019, as per the report.  The definition of a household category revised and explain as, “electronic equipment which due to its nature can be assumed to be used by both private households (professional users). Such equipment should be registered and reported as household equipment and its waste should be considered WEEE from private households.”

There are so many technological developments happen in the world.  Many of them are successful and so many gets fail.  All the innovation will make the life easy and luxurious, but at the same time it harms the nature and daily lives too. Think that, there is so many appliances and electronics kits which are used during the technological experiment are getting into a waste material. Emirates airlines get partnership with the Dubai Mall. This partnership will bring a flight simulator for visitors.
