Victoria and Broadmarsh Shopping Centers are Planning to Change their Identities


This time, some of the biggest shopping centers in United Kingdom, such as shopping centers of Victoria and Broadmarsh in Nottingham are in the progress of getting new identities after the owners of such shopping centers have announced the plans for revamp of a big amount worth £25 million. Both of these capital shopping centers have incorporated 15-strong portfolio and have adopted the name ‘intu’ as one of the parts of nationwide rebrand for 12 different sites.

Because of this, both of these shopping centers of Nottingham have obtained their new ownership as ‘intu Victoria Centre’ and ‘intu Broadmarsh’. Other than alteration in brand name, they are also planning to offer WiFi facility at free of cost from February 2014. Other than the shopping centers of Nottingham, shopping centers belong to some other parts in United Kingdom are having their plans to have new identities.

On 18th of February, CSC i.e. Capital Shopping Centres have taken steps for changing its name to ‘intu properties plc’. As similar to the shopping centers of BEBO KOBO Camden market, CSC is making plans for selling some of the fashion items from their tenants and various other retailers in their site, which will be launched in the month of April. David Fischel, CEO of CSC in United Kingdom commented, “Currently, we are not finding any link between the name of the company and its centers, but new branding plans may definitely give us new marketing opportunities.”
